Today I have made the hardest decision of my life...to sell my beloved Tennessee Walking mare Lady...
I really need a cow horse and I can't afford 3 horses (one being my mothers). This decision has left me heartbroken as I bought her as a baby and raise her as a 10yr till now, I'm the only one who could ever ride her, I had always thought she would be with me till the end of our days...

I'm really sorry to hear about that. It's always hard losing an animal you love.

One time I had a cat who had a very wild fur pattern. He had a Mackeral Tabby fur pattern and was very skittish. However I loved him because he was so different and I hadn't seen a cat with a pattern like his before. He never got neutered because we didn't want to spend the money and kept putting it off. I named him Pokey because I thought his fur pattern looked a little "pokey" like a hedgehog or something. Heheh.

Initially we had gotten three cats, and as the years went on they got into fights, probably because they were not neutered. Eventually we neutered two of them, but not Pokey. Pokey went on to not only constantly leave our property, but also out live all the other cats. Soon he became more like a ghost than a living being. We started seeing him once a month, the got super skitish and hard to coax. Sometimes I would see him and he would run away. Other times I would manage to get him to come close to me and let me pet him. He was deathly afraid of our dogs and we had to make sure they weren't around if I tried.

One time I didn't see him for a few months, and I became worried. I think as many as six may have passed without a sighting if not more. I remember meeting him again by chance and being really happy just to see he was still alive. However, he had gotten quite bigger.

I remember petting him and even picking him up a little. He was very- very heavy and large for a house cat. He had become tough to survive in the wild. I think I could feel his muscles on his legs and his cheeks were very fat. When I scratched him behind the neck there was a lot of oil for spreading his scent. When he was finally calm he LOVED being pet and scratched. . . he probably didn't have much affection at all, and he was so strong that when he rubbed his neck against your hand it was quite forceful. XD

I'll always remember him as the tough cat who didn't get taken down. One time we brought home a female cat who wasn't spayed and I'm pretty sure he was the father. The mom even had a cat that looked just like him! But that cat was exTREMELY affectionate. He would try to press his face up against yours and he loved being pet. He would eagerly greet just about everyone. Sadly he. . . didn't make it and disappeared one day. His dad seems to have suffered the same fate. Ah well.

She looks like a good horse ILFD. Her skin is in good condition. I get she'll be taken care of, it's easy to see you cared about her as much. People who buy horses would have the money and ability to take care of them.
